Buyer Questions
What sizes can I choose?
Onions are graded by diameter (25-40, 40-55, 55-70 and 70 mm+), pomegranates by fruit weight (200-300 g up to 600 g+), and bananas by finger length and calibre. Tell us the grade your market prefers and we will source to it.
How do you keep fresh produce in good condition?
By harvesting at the right maturity, grading and packing carefully, and matching storage and transport to each product, for example reefer containers at 13-14 C for bananas and 7-10 C for green chillies.
Do you ship by sea or by air?
Both are possible. Bananas and onions usually move by sea, while shorter-life items such as green chillies and pomegranates can go by air or reefer depending on the destination. We advise on the best option for your route.
Which documents come with a shipment?
Typically a Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Certificate of Origin, Phytosanitary Certificate and Bill of Lading (or Airway Bill). Some destinations ask for extra certificates, which we check at the start.
Can I start with a trial shipment?
Yes. Share your product, grade, quantity, packaging and destination, and we will suggest a practical shipment size, from pallets to full container loads.
